I currently have for my system a pair of Sennheiser PC360 headphones and an ASUS Xonar DGX to drive them I have been happy with the combo but I have been wanting to upgrade the sound card now that I have a bigger budget but I think I am okay with keeping the PC360s. Is there a general preference to either of those sound cards or is there another that I should consider too? Thanks for the help in advance! I also have an Oculus Rift so I wanted something to make in-game sounds even nicer. I am looking for a sound card with good virtual surround for listening to music and gaming, the current setup I have I had to fiddle with the EQ A LOT to make the virtual surround sound nice, but even then voices in games and youtube videos sound too bass-y but music sounds pretty good. I have currently been looking at the Xonar Essence STX and the Creative Soundblaster Zx. I've always relied on this forum when it comes to getting advice on which headphones I should buy and which sound cards are a great deal, so I've come back to get more advice
